In the Texas High Plains cash grain markets the bulk of the trade was mixed 
6 cents to 11 cents higher on grain sorghum, 3 cents lower to 3 cents higher on 
wheat(with some basis improvement), and 3 cents to 6 cents higher on corn.  The 
front month of the futures was 3.50 cents higher on corn and was 2.75 cents 
lower on KW wheat.  

The grain trade was mixed for the day with some improvement from the overnight 
trading, supported by the rebound in the Stock Market indices.  Corn harvest 
progress was listed at 47 percent and crop ratings remained at 53 percent good 
to excellent.  Dry weather conditions persist in most of the Southern Plains 
except some areas of Kansas which received rain yesterday. 

Prices paid or bid to producers delivered to country elevators as of 3:00 p.m.
Grain sorghum quoted per hundredweight; wheat, corn and soybeans per bushel.
