Feeder Cattle Weighted Average Report for 5/17/2013

Receipts:  2677     Last Week:  2210   Year Ago:  4315  

   Compared to last week: not enough comparable trades for an adequate market 
trend.   The supply consisted of 93 percent steers.  In the feeder cattle supply 
100 percent weighed over 600 lbs.  Unless otherwise stated prices are FOB with a 
2-3 percent shrink or equivalent and with a 5-10 cent slide on calves and 3-6 
cent slide on yearlings from base weight. 

   Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1: Current FOB Price: 825 lbs 130.50. Current 
Delivered Price: 640-675 lbs 150.50-152.70; 740-785 lbs 140.50-149.25.  

  Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1: Current FOB Price: 650 lbs 135.00.
