Slaughter sows traded mostly steady, with moderate demand for light
offerings. 

Barrows and gilts traded steady, with moderate demand and moderate 
offerings.
            
US 1-3 under 400 lbs   45.00-49.00 
         400-450 lbs   47.00-51.00 
         450-500 lbs   50.00-55.00  
         500-550 lbs   52.00-57.00 
        over 550 lbs   55.00-59.00	

Boars: under 300 lbs   34.00-35.00             
       over  300 lbs   10.00-16.00

IL direct barrow and gilts: US 1-3 220-290 lbs at 62.00 to 65.00

Compared to last week, sows traded 3.00 to 7.00 higher, with moderate to good 
demand for light to moderate offerings.  Receipts for the week totaled 3,485 
head, compared to 4,195 head last week and 4,157 head one year ago.  Barrows and 
gilts were 2.00 higher, with moderate to good demand for moderate offerings.
