Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 5/22/13

Receipts:  1640    Last Week:  1802    Year Ago:  2115

   Compared to last week, steers under 750 lbs and heifers (all weights) 
unevenly steady to 3.00 lower, yearling steers over 750 lbs 2.00 to 3.00 higher
on a light test.  Not enough Holsteins last week for a market comparison,
compared to two weeks ago, Holsteins under 600 lbs 2.00 to 6.00 lower, 600 to
850 lbs steady to 2.00 higher, over 850 lbs unevenly steady.  Demand and supply
moderate.  The feeder supply included 31 percent steers, 25 percent Holsteins,
36 percent heifers, 08 percent bulls, with 49 percent over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1 pkg 352 lbs 162.00; 500-600 lbs 148.50-
165.00, few 585-600 lbs fleshy 130.00-135.00; 600-700 lbs calves 129.00-149.00;
