Feeder Cattle and Slaughter Auction for 6/12/2013

   Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to 6.00 higher.  
Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady; Demand good and supply light.  Cows 
made up approximately 9 percent of the run, 91 percent feeders.  Steers 
made up approximately 43 percent of the offering, 46 percent heifers with 
49 percent being over 600 lbs.

   Feeder Steers:  Medium and Large 1  few 250-300 lbs 170.00-187.50; few 375-
400 lbs 158.00-159.00; 400-475 lbs 152.50-161.00; 500-600 lbs 145.00-151.50;

   Cow/calf pairs:  Medium and Large 1-2  one short and solid mouth, 1250 lbs 
with 190 lb calf, 1450.00 per pair.
