New Holland Sales Stables Special Feeder Sale

   A heavier supply of cattle on offer when compared to last month`s feeder 
cattle special. Quality was very random ranging from well managed pre-
conditioned cattle to cattle at the other end of the spectrum with little 
attention paid to them. A single large consignment of Holstein steers sold 
with good demand, although demand outside of this consignment was moderate at 
best. Good buyer attendance kept the trade active throughout the sale. Feeder 
steers sold mostly 5.00-10.00 lower. Heifers were lightly tested and sold 
with a weak undertone. Pre-conditioned Holsteins sold firm, while the 
remainder of the Holsteins sold weak. All prices per cwt.
