Prices for both acid and rennet casein are higher on the top ends of the 
respective ranges.  The market tone is firm.  New deals at higher prices are 
being reported.  Demand is light to fair with some buyers securing product 
for current fill-in needs and to have stocks at times later in the year.  
Offerings remain on the lower side of normal.  The slow start to the 
European milk season is concerning as to the production and future 
availability of casein.
