Broiler/Fryer: Weekly Fryers Available for Marketing (Wed)

Based on the preliminary chick placements, the number of fryers
available for marketing during the week ending 29-Jun-13 is
estimated at 151.3 million head.  This compares to 149.9
million head the previous week and to 156.8 million head the
same week a year ago, when the slaughter was 155.9 million head
and the national weighted average price was 80.18 cents per pound.
